Moisturizers and creams can work wonders on everything from skin to hair.
Pick the right product based on your skin. On hearty areas, such as the back, arms, and legs, a thicker cream like our hand and body cream in it is usually the best choice. For more delicate places, like your face, a lighter moisturizer like our facial therapy cream is best.
Apply moisturizers and creams when damp. Your skin will drink in a moisturizer best if it's applied while your skin is still damp. That goes for face and body, too!
Avoid heavy fragrances on your face. Fragrance ingredients can be highly allergenic, meaning they're likely to cause irritation. Best to skip fragranced face products, and save the scent for your body. We always offer the option to choose unscented with all of our products.
Besides imparting or restoring normal levels of hydration to the skin, moisturizers can have several additional intended and unintended effects on their users, including building a barrier against the loss of water through the epidermis, repairing scaly, damaged or dry skin resulting from external environmental aggressions or internal changes (such as in acne or naturally dry skin), repairing or postponing the aging effects on the skin, etc. Be kind and take care of your skin; it is the only skin you have.
